Yuma Foothills Improvement District is approved as a 501(c)(3) by IRS.  This means all donations are tax deductible on your income tax return.  Donations can normally be made two (2) ways; however, donations are not necessary at this point in time. As there are not going to be any negotiations at this time to purchase the assets of Far West Water and Sewer, there is no need to continue collecting donations. Already got the question what's better similac or enfamil? Go to the site and choose! If the status changes and negotiations are a viable option, we will again be asking for donations.

If and when donations are necessary here are the two (2) ways to make them:

1. You can make a donation by check, send to  Yuma Foothills Improvement District, PO Box 25465 Yuma, Az. 85367      Make checks payable to Yuma Foothills Improvement District.

2. Do you consider a real massager is expensive to buy? Read benefits and risks about homemade prostate toys. The choice is up to you! Use the PAYPAL Donate button on this page.  It will take you to Paypal’s secure website, where you can make a donation in any amount you wish.  You do not need to have a Paypal account, they take all credit cards and can even take a check.  Your donation is instantly deposited in our Paypal account.

In January of each year a statement will be mailed to any person who makes a donation during the prior year.  If you should not receive your statement by the end of January, please contact us immediately.
We have had many generous donations over the past few years and appreciate all that was given.  The monies were used for legal fees and to fund the process of negotiating for the sale of Far West Water and Sewer.
 Thank You!

  1. To all Foothills residents, I am the new president of the Yuma Foothills Improvement District. We are working hard at starting negotiations with Far West. Once this begins we will be asking for a great deal of help from everyone possible.

Thanks for your interest in this project.

    • Is Yuma Foothills Improvement District a special district as it pertains to the water and sewer system in the Foothills? Would the Improvement District receive funding and low rate loans from the State to finance the purchase of Far West?

      Thanking you in advance
      Ted Salken

      • Yuma Foothills Improvement District will be a special district once formally approved. This will take county and property owner approval. We hope to start this process in the next couple months. Once formed and if negotiations are successful, it will include both the sewer and the water portions of Far West. Funding is anticipated from WIFA; a state program that assists projects like ours.

  2. I was at your meeting of Nov 10, 2014 and would like to offer my services to your task. I felt last night that the program could have been presented a little better, i.e., an agenda and an implementation plan. The program last night appeared to be just exploratory. If I may, I’d like to sit down with you and yours to form the above. Please advise.

My direct email address is my1956tb@aol.com.

    • Ms. Gunderson, Have you received any emails from us? I want to make sure you were added as you had requested.

      Cindy, current President

    • Mr. Vielleux, I do believe you are on our list but I wanted to verify with you that you are receiving emails and/or notifications.

      Cindy, the new President

  3. If every home owner or renter were to send a check in the amount of one month’s sewer and water payment to the Yuma Foothills Improvement District, perhaps this group who has worked so hard for all of us would have some seed money to take this to the next step. My check will be mailed in early April. I challenge all other Foothills residents to do the same if you can.
Send your check to: Yuma Foothills Improvement District, PO Box 25465 Yuma, Az. 85367 Make checks payable to Yuma Foothills Improvement District.

  4. The odors in the foothills area are bad. It is wonderful to see that a group of people are willing to try and make a difference. It would be great to see Far West Water and Sewer owned and operated by people who understand how to run a business efficiently and in a business like manner.
